Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! Today I want to talk about Carrie Underwood. I’m sure everyone reading this knows who Carrie is, but today I’m going to talk about something you may not know about her.

When Carrie was 14, one of her local fans arranged for her to go to Nashville to audition for “Capitol Records.” “Capitol Records” was preparing a contract for her, but they canceled it when new management took over. Carrie said she thinks it was best that it didn’t work out because she doesn’t think she would’ve been ready. I agree with Carrie. Imagine how different her career would be if it would’ve worked out with “Capitol Records.” She probably wouldn’t have recorded some of her biggest hits, and since she was only 14 at the time, I don’t think her career would’ve lasted as long as it has now. Typically when someone starts a music career as a teenager it doesn’t last too long.

Carrie is proof that sometimes it’s good when things don’t work out how you want them to. Sometimes it means something better will happen if you wait for it to happen.

Thanks for reading, I’ll be back soon!
