Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! The “CMA Awards” are next week, so today I want to start by asking you a question. Who has won the most “CMA Awards” of all time? I’m not going to answer this question yet, so that you have time to think about it. I am going to count down the top five people who have won the most “CMA Awards” of all time.

At number five on the list is Tim Mcgraw. Tim has won 14 “CMA Awards.” He won his first CMA in 1997 for “Vocal Event of The Year,” and his most recent CMA win was in 2013 for “Musical Event of The Year.”

At number four on the list is Alan Jackson. Alan has won 16 “CMA Awards.” He won his first CMA in 1992 for “Music Video of The Year,” and his most recent CMA win was in 2003 for “Vocal Event of The Year.”

At number three on the list is Vince Gill. Vince has won 18 “CMA Awards.” He won his first CMA in 1990 for “Single of The Year,” and his most recent CMA win was in 1999 for “Vocal Event of The Year.”

At number two on the list is Brooks and Dunn. Brooks and Dunn have won 19 “CMA Awards.” They won their first CMA in 1992 for “Duo of The Year,” their most recent CMA win was in 2006, which was also for “Duo of The Year.” They’ve won 14 times in that category alone.

And finally, now that I’ve given you some time to think, the person with the most CMA wins is George Strait. George has won 23 “CMA Awards.” He won his first CMA in 1985 for “Album of The Year,” and his most recent CMA win was in 2013 for “Entertainer of The Year.” George has been winning “CMA Awards” for several decades now. I don’t know if he’ll ever win anymore, but I hope he does.

Thanks for reading, and remember to tune into the “CMA Awards” on Wednesday night to see who wins big this year. I’ll be back soon!
