Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! Miranda Lambert or Carrie Underwood could make history at this years “CMA Awards.” Both artists are nominated for “Entertainer of The Year,” and if either artist would win, it would be the first time in eleven years since a female artist won that award. The last female artists who won that award was Taylor Swift in 2011.

I hope a female artist wins this year, but they are up against some tough competition, Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, and Morgan Wallen. I think Morgan is going to win this year, because he had a very successful year on the radio and he had a very successful tour, but so has everyone else in this category, so it’s hard to say.

In the “CMA Awards” 55 years, there have only been seven female “Entertainer of The Year” winners, Taylor Swift, The Chicks, Shania Twain, Reba McEntire, Barbara Mandrell, Dolly Parton, and Loretta Lynn. I am really hoping either Miranda or Carrie will win this year, because it is long overdue for a woman to win the biggest award of the night, but like I said earlier, there is a lot of tough competition this year.
