Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! If you watch “America’s Got Talent” you would be familiar with Drake Milligan. Even if you don’t know who he is, you have to go check out his music. If you love traditional country music, you will love Drake Milligan.

Drake just released his debut album “Dallas/Fort Worth” today, and I’m not lying when I say it is the best album of the year. Drake is keeping country music alive on this album, which is something most people don’t care about anymore, but Drake is the real deal. When you listen to this album, you will probably think you are back in the 1970s or the 1980s based on the sound, but that’s what I love about it.

Drake came in third place on “America’s Got Talent,” and even though I was a little disappointed he didn’t win, I think it is probably best that he didn’t. I just feel he will have better opportunities in his career because he didn’t win. Now that he has gotten so much exposure on tv, I think he is going to be the next big thing in country music, and he didn’t have to win to prove that.

I don’t know if his twangy country sound will be very radio friendly, but there are many people who have a lot of success, but they don’t have radio success. Because now with all the streaming platforms, the radio is becoming less important in the music business. I think this is a good thing, because when you look someone up on Spotify for example, you can see how many streams their songs have and how many monthly listeners they have. So, you can see for yourself what songs people are listening to, and you don’t have to go by what the radio wants to play.

Please go check out this new album. You won’t regret it. Thanks for reading, I’ll be back soon!
