Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! A while ago, I made a post about the biggest hitmakers of the past ten years. Today I want to expand on that idea and talk about the biggest hitmakers of the past 30 years, taking us back to 1994.

Since 1994, 81 artists have had multiple number one hits on the Hot Country Songs Chart, and today I’m going to discuss the ten artists who have had the most.

At number ten is Rascal Flatts. They have not been around since 1994, but since their debut in 2000, they have had 12 number one hits.

At number nine is Carrie Underwood. Carrie tied a couple other artists on this list with 15 number one songs since she debuted in 2005. In order to break the tie, I counted the number of top ten hits each artist had. Carrie had 14 top ten hits.

At number eight is Brooks and Dunn. Brooks and Dunn are tied with Carrie. Since 1994, they’ve had 15 number one songs and 17 top tens.

At number seven is Keith Urban. Keith is the other artist involved in this tie. He had 15 number ones and 22 top tens.

At number six is Brad Paisley. Brad has had a total of 17 number one hits since his debut in 1999.

At number five is the start of another tie. Alan Jackson has had 19 number one songs and 18 top tens since 1994.

At number four is Toby Keith. Toby has had 19 number ones and 19 top tens since 1994.

At number three is George Strait. George is the other artist involved in this tie. He has had 19 number ones and 26 top tens since 1994.

At number two is Kenny Chesney. Kenny has had 23 number ones since 1994.

And finally, at number one is Tim McGraw. Since 1994, Tim has had 26 number one songs.

Thanks for reading. I’ll be back soon!
