Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! The “CMT Awards” were on last night. I thought it was an excellent show, so today I am going to talk about some of the best moments from the awards.

The first moment I want to talk about is when Shania Twain was presented with the “CMT Equal Play Award.” I think this is a very important award because CMT has been doing everything they can to make sure that women are heard just as much as men. I'm glad they are pushing for equal play. Women deserve to be played as much as men. Shania has inspired so many women, so I think she was the perfect person to receive this award.

The next moment I want to talk about is Lainey Wilson's performance of her song “Heart Like a Truck.” I think this was one of the best performances of the night. Lainey has such a powerful voice, which was on full display during her performance.

The next moment I want to talk about is when Megan Moroney won the award for Breakthrough Female Video of The Year." Megan is one of my favorite new artists. I think within a year, her career is going to really take off, so I was glad to see her win this award.

The next moment I want to talk about is Cody Johnson's performance of his hit “Human.” It was a simple performance, but that's why I liked it so much. Sometimes simple is better.

The next moment I'm going to talk about is Carrie Underwood's performance of “Hate My Heart.” This was definitely one of the best performances of the night. It was really fun, and it ended with fireworks, which made it even better.

The last moment I am going to talk about is when Kelsea Ballerini opened the show by talking about the shooting that took place in Nashville. She also shared her personal experience with gun violence. When she was in high school, she watched one of her classmates lose his life after being shot. It was a very emotional way to open the show, but it was the perfect way to open it.

Thanks for reading. Please let me know what your favorite moment was. I'll be back soon!
