Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! Happy fourth of July. I hope you got the chance to spend time with family today at a cookout. Since it is summer, I know everyone will be in the pool or sitting around a campfire a lot more listening to songs like "Pontoon" or "Chicken Fried." They are both great summer songs, but today I want to talk about Brad Paisley's new song, "So Many Summers."

This song is about living life to the fullest and not letting moments pass you by because you only get so many summers. A verse I really like in this song says "I'd make money cuttin' grass, mama'd make her sweet tea, I was growin' up fast, and eventually when dad would wanna play catch I'd say maybe some other time, I wanna grab that kid say are you outta your mind, you only get so many summers."

I just really love the meaning of this song. It's true, you only get so many summers, so you shouldn't waste the ones you have.
