Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! Today I am going to do a review of the book “Run Rose Run” written by Dolly Parton and James Patterson. This book tells the story of up and coming country singer AnnieLee Keyes. When AnnieLee comes to Nashville, she has dreams of making it big and leaving her dark past behind her. One day when she is singing at a bar called “Cat’s Paw Saloon” AnnieLee meets another singer named Ethan Blake. Ethan is also the guitarist for retired country music legend Ruthanna Ryder. Ruthanna takes AnnieLee under her wing and helps her become country music’s next superstar. But when AnnieLee’s past follows her around, she knows she has must face it head on to get it to stop. Even though AnnieLee doesn’t let them in on her secrets from her past, Ruthanna and Ethan still help and protect AnnieLee from a mysterious person from her past.

This book is not only for country music fans. It does help to have some kind of respect for the genre, but this is a book everyone could get something out of. If you love mystery novels this is the perfect book for you. If you like romance novels, this book also becomes a love story. If you like action packed stories then this book is definitely for you. All throughout the book there is lots of action.

If you like this book, there is also a soundtrack that has all the song that are talked about in the book. The book is also going to be made into a movie. There is no release date yet, but it will most likely be out in the next couple years. But if you haven’t read this book yet I would definitely recommend doing so. Like I said, there is something for everyone in this book.
