Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! It's time to announce the “Country Music 4 Ever Country Legend Highlight” for the month of May is Kenny Rogers. I will review the rules again of how I determine who I highlight.

These are artists who made their debut in country music at least 40 years ago, and they have to have at least 20 number one hits. Kenny made his debut in country music in 1977, and he has earned 21 number one songs.

Kenny was born in Houston, Texas. He formed his first band in high school in 1956. In 1976, he signed a deal in Nashville with United Artists.

Throughout his career, Kenny sold over 120 million albums worldwide, including one diamond album, 20 platinum albums, and 11 gold albums.
