Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! CMA Fest starts in 15 days, and will run June 8-11. CMA Fest started back in 1972, and it was originally called Fan Fair. When it first started, it drew about 5,000 fans to Nashville, and it now draws tens of thousands of fans from all over the world to come see country music's biggest stars perform. In 2019, CMA Fest featured more than 300 performances on eleven different stages.

For 15 consecutive years, CMA Fest has been filmed for a television special which airs on ABC. It typically airs on TV a couple of months after CMA Fest, so it should be around the beginning of August.

Many cool things have happened over the years at CMA Fest. For Example, at the twenty-fifth anniversary of CMA Fest, Garth Brooks made a surprise appearance. During his appearance, Garth signed autographs for 23 hours straight without any breaks!

Another cool thing happened in 1974 when Dolly Parton and Porter Wagoner performed together for the very last time before going their separate ways.

CMA Fest has always been a very special place for artists and fans to connect with each other.

Thanks for reading. I'll be back soon!
