Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! Morgan Wallen is one of the most popular country artists right now. He has been giving us hit after hit for several years now. I think his career has reached a new level this year. He has broken so many records, which is what I am going to talk about today.

 

Morgan became the first artist in history to have three songs in all top three spots on the “Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart” at the same time. That is pretty crazy. Most of the time people don’t release three songs at the same, which is why this has never happened before.

 

His song “You Proof” is now tied with “Amazed” by Lonestar and “It’s Five O’clock Somewhere” by Alan Jackson and Jimmy Buffett for spending the most weeks at number one on the “Billboard Country Airplay Chart.” According to radio chart insider Chris Owen, it is likely the first song in “Billboard Country Airplay Chart” history to fall out and reclaim the top spot two times in one chart run. Now that is pretty awesome!

 

In the beginning of last year Morgan released a double album called “Dangerous.” It has been one of the top country albums ever since it was released. And it is the first album in the history of music to spend 100 weeks in the top ten on the “Billboard 200 Chart.” That is including all genres of music. I think that is one of the coolest things that has happened in his career so far.
