Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! Even though there has been some debate over who the king of country music is, nobody comes close to George Strait, which is why he was given the title. Throughout his career, he has earned 60 number one songs, and he has sold over 100,000,000 albums worldwide. He has gone down in history as one of the best-selling artists of all time.

Something that bothers me though is that there is no queen of country music. So, I thought I would do some research to figure out who that should be.

I made a list of every female country artist I could think of, and then I researched who had the most number one songs on the country charts.

After some research, I found out Reba McEntire should be named the queen of country music. She has had 21 number one songs throughout her career, and she has sold over 90,000,000 albums worldwide. With numbers like that, I don’t understand why she hasn’t officially been named the queen of country music.

There were other women who were close to being number one. Dolly Parton was second with 19 number ones, Crystal Gayle, Carrie Underwood, and Tammy Wynette tied at number three with 16 number ones, The Judds were at number four with 13 number ones, and Loretta Lynn was at number five with 11 number ones.

Thanks for reading. I’ll be back soon!
