Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! A little over a week ago, I posted about how there are only nine women in the history of country music to have 10 or more number one hits. Those nine women had a combined total of 141 number one songs. I have finally completed my research of how many men/all male acts have had 10 or more number ones. The results are mind-blowing.

In the history of country music, 64 men/male acts have had 10 or more number ones, which isn’t as many as I would have thought. The mind-blowing part to me is that these 64 men have had a combined total of 1,264 number one songs.

This group of men has had 1,123 more number one songs than the group of women I talked about in my last post. It comes out to an average of 15 number one songs for each woman and an average of 17 number one songs for each man. When you put it like that it doesn’t seem like that many more, but keep in mind George Strait has had 60 number ones and no woman has ever come close to that.

Since it is so large, I will have a list of every man with ten or more number ones posted in a separate Facebook post. Thanks for reading. I’ll be back soon!
