Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! This morning, the news broke that we lost a country music legend last night. Toby Keith passed away after battling stomach cancer for the past couple years. Even though I knew about his diagnosis, it still shocked me to hear the news.

Toby was one of the greatest country singers of all time. I can’t imagine country music without songs like “Should've Been a Cowboy” or “Courtesy of the Red, White, and Blue.”

Throughout his career, Toby released 19 studio albums, two Christmas albums, and five compilation albums. He also charted 61 singles on the “Billboard Hot Country Songs” chart, 20 of which went to number one in America and 22 others were top ten hits.

Toby last toured in 2021. He took most of the past two or three years off due to his cancer diagnosis. In December of last year, he played three shows at the Park MGM in Las Vegas. He played his final show on December 14.
