Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! It is the time of year for everyone to get their “Spotify Wrapped” story and playlist. For those of you who don’t have Spotify, I’ll explain what I’m talking about. Every year Spotify allows you to view the artists and songs you listened to the most in the past year. For example, my top artist is Loretta Lynn and my top song is “Watermelon Moonshine” by Lainey Wilson. There have been many artists who posted their “Spotify Wrapped” on social media. If you are a singer, your “Spotify Wrapped” tells you how many streams you got in the past year. So today I am going to talk about how many streams some country singers got. I am going to talk about the singers with the top 20 songs on the “Mediabase Country Airplay Chart.” Not all of the 20 singers posted their “Spotify Wrapped,” so I am only going to talk about the ones who did.

 

At number one by a long shot is Morgan Wallen. Morgan had 2,100,000,000 streams this past year. He is the only person on the list to have over a billion streams. It won’t seem like the other people on the list had many streams compared to him.

 

The next person on the list is Jason Aldean. Jason had 615,100,000 streams in the past year. It’s really not surprising though since he’s one of the biggest names in country music.

 

The next person on the list is Thomas Rhett. Thomas had 556,900,000 streams this past year. Once again it’s not really surprising.

 

The next person on the list is Jordan Davis. Jordan had 351,700,000 streams in the past year. I think that is really impressive.

 

The next person on the list is Jelly Roll. I don’t really think he should be on this list, but he has a top 20 song on the country charts somehow. He had 305,100,000 streams this past year.

 

The next person on the list is Dierks Bentley. Dierks had 274,800,000 streams this past year. I’m kinda surprised he didn’t have more, but that’s still very impressive.

 

The next person on the list is Bailey Zimmerman. Bailey had 251,600,000 streams this past year. He had quite an impressive breakout year. He broke many records, which I will talk about more in another blog post. So stay tuned!

 

The next person on the list is Brett Young. Brett had 214,200,000 streams in the past year. Even though we are getting towards the end of the list that is still a crazy amount of streams.

 

The next person on the list is Carly Pearce. Carly had 149,700,000 streams this past year. I am responsible for a decent amount of them.

 

The next person on the list is Nate Smith. Nate had 133,700,000 streams this past year. He had a pretty successful year with his breakout hit “Whiskey On You.”

 

And sadly, at the bottom of the list is Lainey Wilson. Lainey had 81,600,000 streams this past year, which is still very impressive. I’m sure she will have a lot more next year.
