Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! My second post today is about Kimberly Perry's debut solo EP, “Bloom.”

The Band Perry left country music for several years before they announced their split. It is nice to see Kimberly make a return to country music.

This is a great EP, but there were a couple of songs that really stood out.

One of the songs that I thought really stood out was “Ghosts.” This song is about how she will love her husband even after they die. She sings “They fill Hallmark cards with 'Til death do us part,' baby, forever ain't gonna come close, dying's for quitters, I'll love you when we're both six feet deep.”

The other song that stood out is the one that everybody knows by now, “If I Die Young Pt. 2.” This doesn't mean the other songs aren't good, it just means that this song is so good. I'm sure you know by now that this is the second part to The Band Perry's hit “If I Die Young.” It is from the perspective of the same girl the original song was about, but this song is about how she's glad she didn't die young. I recently posted a whole review of this song, so please check it out if you get a chance.

Thanks for reading. I'll be back soon!
