Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! Ella Langley released her debut album “Hungover” this past Friday. It’s an awesome album with a traditional country sound.

Ella has a duet with Riley Green on her album called “You Look Like You Love Me.” I’m sure some of you are familiar with this song, but for those of you who aren’t I’ll tell you a little about it.

“You Look Like You Love Me” is one of the most traditional sounding songs I’ve heard in a long time. The verses are just spoken words, which is similar to songs like “As Soon As I Hang Up the Phone” by Conway and Loretta or “A Boy Named Sue” by Johnny Cash. Ella then goes into the chorus, which she sings with a very twangy sound.

This song was released to country radio yesterday. So, I think this will be the true test for country radio. They have accepted artists like Lainey Wilson, Cody Johnson, and even Zach Top, who all have a traditional sound. “You Look Like You Love Me” is next level traditional country though, so the question is, will the radio play something that country? I hope they do, but I would find it surprising.

I will post a link to this song on the Country Music 4 Ever Facebook page for those of you who haven’t heard it yet. Thanks for reading. I’ll be back soon!
