Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! Megan Moroney just released her sophomore album “Am I Okay?” This album is full of standout songs such as “28th of June” and “Heaven By Noon,” which was written about her uncle who was killed in the 9/11 attack. But, today I want to talk about one of my favorite songs on the album called “Man on the Moon.”

This is such a creative song that starts with the line “Houston, he’s a problem,” which is referencing the movie “Apollo 13.” The whole song has an outer space theme. It is about a guy who is driving her crazy because he doesn’t know what he wants in their relationship.

Megan later sings about wanting to find a rocket to send him to the moon because she’s done dealing with him. The chorus says, “He wants me, and he needs space. Someone take this cowboy away somewhere far. Let him fly out of this world and off my mind. Come on there’s gotta be a rocket somewhere takin’ off soon. I think it’s time we put another man on the moon.”

This entire album is full of great lyrics. There’s something about the way Megan writes songs that make them special. They are always written in such a creative way, and “Man on the Moon” is a great example of that. I would definitely recommend listening to “Am I Okay?” There is not a bad song on the album.

Thanks for reading. I’ll be back soon!
