Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! Today, Megan Moroney released her debut album “Lucky,” which is one of my favorite albums so far this year. She has a great voice, her songs were written very well, and the album has a wonderful sound overall. I am going to share some of my favorite songs on the album, which it was very hard to pick just a few because they are all good, but I think I narrowed it down to the best ones.

The first song I want to talk about is called "Girl in the Mirror.” This song is about being in a relationship with someone who you put above everyone else, including yourself, and losing your identity because of your relationship with this person. This is such a good song. Please go check it out.

The next song I want to talk about is called “Why Johnny.” In this song, she wishes she could have a conversation with June Carter Cash to ask her why she stayed with Johnny Cash even though he drank and cheated on her. In the song, she says she has a Johnny of her own, and she doesn’t know if he will change his ways.

The last song I want to talk about is called “Mustang or Me.” This song is about leaving her boyfriend and moving back home. She is driving an old Mustang that could break down anytime, so in the song she says, “Who’s gonna break down first, the Mustang or me?” I think it is so creative how this song was written.

Thanks for reading. I’ll be back tomorrow with a review of Kimberly Perry’s “If I Die Young Pt. 2.”
