Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! The “Country Music 4 Ever Artist Spotlight” artist of the month is George Birge. George was born in Austin, Texas, and began singing when he was a teenager. He has gone on to write songs for Matt Stell, Chris Lane, Gary LeVox, and Jay Demarcus.

George is the creator of the viral song “Beer Beer, Truck Truck," which was written after he came across a TikTok star poking fun at country music, saying that country songs are all about beer, trucks, and girls. I guess that is partly true about recent country music, but it's not true about the whole genre. At least he got a good song out of that comment.

He also turned Neal McCoy's song “Wink” into “That Drink.” He even got Neal to sing with him on the song. It's becoming popular for 90s country artists to sing new versions of their songs with current artists. That's something I will get into more in another post.

George's current radio single “Mind On You” is climbing the charts, so I really hope it becomes a hit.

Thanks for reading. I'll post links to some of George's music on Facebook and Reddit throughout the month. I'll be back soon!
