Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! It is not uncommon for a country album to be on the Billboard 200 Albums chart because out of 200 albums you see many genres on this chart, such as country, pop, rock, rap, and many others. But this week country music made history on this chart because, for the first time in ten years, half of Billboard's top ten albums are country albums. The albums that made this possible are Morgan Wallen's “One Thing At a Time” and “Dangerous: The Double Album,” Luke Combs' “Gettin' Old,” Zach Bryan's “American Heartbreak,” and Bailey Zimmerman's “Religiously. The Album.”
The last time half of the top ten albums were country albums was on October 5, 2013. The albums that made it possible back then were Justin Moore's “Off The Beaten Path,” Chris Young's “A.M.,” Luke Bryan's “Crash My Party,” Keith Urban's “Fuse,” and Billy Currington's “We Are Tonight.”
It shows you how uncommon this is, since the last time it happened was ten years ago. I think country music is in a great place right now. Maybe other people think this too, and that's why these albums are doing so well.
This Friday, Lauren Alaina and Kimberly Perry will be releasing EPs, so I will be posting a review of both of them. Please stay tuned for that.
Thanks for reading. I'll be back soon!
