Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! The nominations for the “ACM Music Awards” were announced yesterday morning. Artists like Lainey Wilson, Morgan Wallen, and Luke Combs earned multiple nominations as expected. It was also nice to see some new artists earn their first-ever nominations like Ashley Cooke, Kameron Marlowe, Kylie Morgan, and many others.

One artist who was completely overlooked was Carly Pearce. Carly didn’t receive any nominations at all. She has had a huge year with her collaboration with Chris Stapleton “We Don’t Fight Anymore.” I definitely think that song deserves a nomination for “Music Event of the Year.”

Carly has released some of the best music of her whole career this past year, and I think it’s sad that the ACMs completely ignored that. She is one of the most popular female country artists right now.

There aren’t many women at her level of popularity right now. Obviously, there is Lainey Wilson who is one of the biggest stars on the planet, but there aren’t many other popular women.

There are other artists who were also overlooked, but I was extra surprised by Carly not earning a single nomination.

Thanks for reading. I’ll be back soon!
