Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! Studies show that an average person listens to 961 hours and 10 minutes of music per year. That seems like a lot, but it comes out to 2 hours and 38 minutes per day. If you're like me, that seems like a reasonable amount. An average person hears roughly 1.3 billion songs in their lifetime, which seems unbelievable, but if you think about all the songs you heard as a kid and all the songs you heard when you were a teenager and even as an adult, that's probably about right.

Studies also show that people who are between 16 and 24 years old listen to the most music, but surprisingly, people who are 45 years or older tend to buy the most music.

So, now that I shared some of these fun facts with you, my question is, since we hear 1.3 billion songs in our lifetime, what are the songs we are going to remember? Obviously, we don't remember every song we've ever heard, but there's always going to be certain songs we will never forget. So, what are those songs? I know I have many songs I will never forget, such as “It Won't Be Like This For Long” by Darius Rucker and “Things a Man Oughta Know” by Lainey Wilson. Please let me know what those songs are for you in the comments.
