Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! Country legends such as Johnny Cash and George Jones had very successful careers, but it may surprise you to know that neither of them had many number one songs. Johnny released 170 singles to the radio and only 13 of them went to number one. And George released 134 singles to the radio and only ten of them went to number one. There are other country legends who don’t have as many number ones as you would think either. Loretta Lynn released 86 singles and only 11 of them made it to number one. And Dolly Parton released 243 singles and only 22 of them went to number one. So the question today is, if all of these people released so many singles to the radio but not many of them made it to number one, why do we consider these people legends?

I don’t think it matters how many number ones you have. All that matters is that people like your music and relate to it. A song doesn’t have to be number one for people to like it. I remember the first time I heard certain songs. It didn’t matter what the songs were called or who sang them. The only thing that mattered was that I liked the songs. I didn’t care if they became hits, because they were already hits to me. Today I am going to share with you what some of those songs are.

The first song I want to talk about is “Things a Man Oughta Know” by Lainey Wilson. The first time I heard this song I didn’t even know who Lainey was. It didn’t matter though because I knew it was a really great song. I love the country sound in her voice.

The next song I want to talk about is “Love Triangle” by Raelynn. This song makes me think of all the kids out there whose parents are divorced and they pretty much live two different lives. I can’t personally relate to this song, but I know people who can. I think this song was written very well.

The last song I want to talk about is “Heaven” by Kane Brown. I remember when I first started getting into country music. This was one of the first songs I remember liking. I love how Kane’s voice sounds in this song. And I think the lyrics in this song are very good.

Let me know what song you liked the first time you heard it. Thanks for reading, I’ll be back soon!
