Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! Lainey Wilson just received the ACM Triple Crown award. This makes her the eleventh artist to ever receive the award.

For those of you who don’t know what the Triple Crown award is, I’ll briefly explain it to you.

The Triple Crown award is presented to artists who have won the ACM New Artist award (male, female, duo, or group), the Artist of the Year award (male, female, duo, or group), and the Entertainer of the Year award.

The ACM Awards began in 1966, but they didn’t begin presenting the Triple Crown award until 2005. At that point, six artists already qualified for the award, so they were all presented with it. Those artists were Merle Haggard, Mickey Gilley, Barbara Mandrell, Brooks & Dunn, The Chicks, and Kenny Chesney.

Other artists who have won this award are Carrie Underwood in 2010, Jason Aldean in 2016, Miranda Lambert in 2022, Chris Stapleton in 2023, and as I said earlier, Lainey Wilson just received the award this year.

This award means a lot because it tells you which artists have been consistently on top of their game earning all three major ACM awards.

Thanks for reading. I’ll be back soon!
