Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! The 90s had many great country singers who sang great songs, but who had the most hits in the 90s? That is something I was wondering about recently. After a little research, I found the answer. Today I will share with you the top artists of the 90s. First, I will share the rules I used to come up with this list.

Even if the artists on this list had hits before or after the 90s, I am only talking about hits from 1990 to 1999. Each number one is worth two points and each top ten is worth one point.

Brooks and Dunn came in at number five with 39 points. They had 14 number ones and 11 top ten hits in the 90s.

Clint Black is at number four with 41 points. He had 13 number ones and 15 top ten hits in the 90s.

Garth Brooks is at number three with 47 points. He had 17 number ones and 13 top ten hits in the 90s.

Alan Jackson is at number two with 48 points. He had 16 number ones and 16 top ten hits in the 90s.

And with no surprise, George Strait came in at number one with 51 points. He had 17 number ones and 17 top ten hits in the 90s.

Here were the other artists in the top ten.

6. Reba McEntire with 34 points. Eight number ones and eight top tens.

7. Tim McGraw with 30 points. 11 number ones and eight top tens.

8. Mark Chesnutt with 27 points. Eight number ones and 11 top tens.

8. Tracy Lawrence with 27 points. Seven number ones and 13 top tens.

8. Alabama with 27 points. Five number ones and 17 top tens.

9. Vince Gill with 25 points. Four number ones and 17 top tens.

10. John Michael Montgomery with 24 points. Six number ones and 12 top tens.

10. Collin Raye with 24 points. Four number ones and 16 top tens.

Thanks for reading. I’ll be back soon!
