Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! On Saturday night, I got the chance to see Jo Dee Messina in concert. It was a phenomenal show. She is very high energy, and she is an excellent inspirational speaker as well. If you ever get the chance to see her in concert, I would definitely recommend it.

The part of the show I want to focus on today is when she performed her 2023 single “Just to Be Loved.” I had only heard this song a couple of times prior to the concert, so I wasn’t too familiar with it, but it is now one of my favorite songs. This song talks about how a lot of people feel pressure to look a certain way based on what they see on social media. A lot of girls think they have to change their appearance because they’re not pretty enough. And a lot of guys think they have to be tougher and braver because guys are supposed to be that way.

Jo Dee gave a very inspirational speech about how God created each of us perfectly. We shouldn’t change who we are because God doesn’t make mistakes.

I really hope you take time to listen to this song if you haven’t already. Country music has so many inspirational songs, so I thought I would start sharing some of them with you because everybody needs some inspiration every now and then.
