Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! Today I am going to talk about several country singers who don’t have as many number one songs as you would think.

 

The first person on the list is Eric Church. Eric released his debut single in 2006, and so far in his 16 year career he only has eleven number one songs. I know it doesn’t seem like many, but compared to everyone else on the list it is a lot.

 

The next person on the list is Miranda Lambert. Miranda released her debut single in 2001, and so far in her 21 year career she only has nine number one songs. Earlier this week I posted a blog about her first number one song, so please check it out if you haven’t yet.

 

The next person on the list is Martina McBride. Martina released her debut single in 1992, and in her 30 year career she only has six number one songs, one of which was on the adult contemporary charts. She should’ve had a lot more than six number ones.

 

The last two people on the list both only have three number ones. The two people are Deana Carter and Lorrie Morgan. Deana released her debut single in 1995, and Lorrie released her debut single in 1979. I know neither of them were as popular as the other people on this list, but I think both of them should’ve had more number one songs. They both have really good songs and really good voices, but for some reason I will never understand, they both only have three number one songs.
