Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! After 17 number one songs and 10 years of country music stardom, Florida Georgia Line have decided to go their separate ways. They both signed solo record deals, and they both started releasing solo music. I am a huge fan of Florida Georgia Line, so I was sad to hear they are going their separate ways, but I am excited to see what the future holds for both of them.

So far they have both been releasing very good solo music, and Tyler has even been getting some radio airplay with his song “5 Foot 9.” If I had to guess which one of them will have more success I would have to choose Tyler. Tyler has always been the lead singer of FGL, except for a few songs. So people already know and love his voice. Brian, on the other hand, has more to prove to both the fans and the radio. Since he wasn’t the lead singer of FGL very often people never really knew what he sounded like, because he only sang lead on album cuts. So if you never listened to any of their albums you wouldn’t know what he sounds like. I’m not saying he doesn’t sound good because I love his voice and I would recommend for you to listen to his music. I’m just saying he is pretty much a brand new singer to most people, and I think it will be harder for him than Tyler. I think he can do it though.

I wanted to take a moment to discuss some of their solo music. I’ll start with Brian. Brian released his solo album “Sunshine State of Mind” last year. I haven’t heard every song on the album, but the songs I have heard are very good. I think the sound of this album is different from FGL’s songs, which can be good and bad. It’s good because it’s something different, and it’s bad because maybe people won’t like that it’s different. I think Tyler’s songs sound pretty similar to FGL, which makes sense because he sang lead most of the time. I really like all the songs he has released so far.

Let me know what you think about FGL going their separate ways. Thanks for reading I’ll be back soon!
