Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! There are so many lists of the best country singers, but most of them are based on someone’s opinion. I don’t think it is fair to not include someone on a list just because you don’t like them, so I came up with a list that I think is fair to everyone. I counted the number one and top ten songs of the most popular country singers from the past ten years. Each number one is worth two points and each top ten song is one point. So now that you know how it works let’s count down the top five country hitmakers from the past ten years.

At number five there is a three way tie between Keith Urban, Luke Combs, and Kenny Chesney, who each have twenty nine points. Keith has had ten number one songs and nine top ten songs in the past ten years. Luke has had fourteen number one songs and one top ten song in the past ten years. And Kenny has had eleven number one songs and seven top ten songs in the past ten years.

At number four on the list is Carrie Underwood, who is the only female artist on the list. Carrie has thirty three points, twelve number one songs and nine top ten songs. Pretty impressive for a woman in country music.

At number three on the list is a tie between Thomas Rhett and Florida Georgia Line, who both have thirty seven points. Interestingly both Thomas and FGL have had seventeen number one songs and three top ten songs.

At number two is Jason Aldean with forty four points. Jason has had twenty number one songs and four top ten songs in the past ten years.

And finally, at number one with fifty three points is the one and only Luke Bryan! Luke has had twenty six number one songs and one other top ten song in the past ten years. That’s pretty impressive.

Let me know in the comments who your favorite country singers from the past ten years are. I’ll be back soon!
