Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! Maddie and Tae were signed to “Dot Records” for their debut EP and debut album in 2014. However, as they began working on their second album, “Dot Records” closed down, which left Maddie and Tae without a label home. Maddie revealed she went through depression during this time because they didn’t know if another record label would give them a chance. They were eventually signed to another label and they have released new music throughout the past several years.

Maddie and Tae had to work twice as hard to get half the attention other singers get. They worked hard to get signed to “Dot Records,” then they had to work hard to get signed to another label after “Dot Records” closed down. Even after all the hard work they put into making it where they are today, they are still overlooked by many people.

I personally think if “Dot Records” wouldn’t have left them empty handed, they would’ve had more radio success. They had to prove to everyone that they could still be successful after “Dot Records” closed down. They proved it with the success of their song “Die From a Broken Heart,” which made it to number one.

Thanks for reading. Let me know what you think. I’ll be back soon!
