Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! Since this weekend is Memorial Day weekend, I thought I would talk about some patriotic songs. There are so many great patriotic songs, so it was hard to choose which ones to talk about, but I think I narrowed it down to some of the best ones, so let's get started.

The first song I want to talk about is “God Bless The USA” by Lee Greenwood. This song is about being proud to be from America, and he also sings about remembering those who fought for our freedom. This is one of the most popular patriotic songs of all time.

The next song I would like to talk about is “Only In America” by Brooks and Dunn. This song is about how in America you can dream as big as you want to, and how you can become anything you want to be in America.

The next song I would like to talk about is “Courtesy of The Red, White, and Blue” by Toby Keith. This song was written in response to the attacks on 9/11. It was also inspired by the death of Toby's father, who was a military veteran. This is also a song about being proud to be from America.

The next song I want to talk about is “Letters From Home” by John Michael Montgomery. This song is about a soldier who is out fighting for our country. He receives letters from his family and that's what keeps him going. This is one of my all-time favorite songs.

The last song I would like to talk about is “Some Gave All” by Billy Ray Cyrus. This song is about how everyone who goes in the military gives some, but some give all by losing their lives to protect us. I think this is a really great song, and it is perfect for holidays like Memorial Day.

Some of the other songs I considered for this list were
“Where Were You (When The World Stopped Turning)” by Alan Jackson
“The Ones That Didn't Make It Back Home” by Justin Moore
“If You're Reading This” by Tim McGraw
“I'm Already There” by Lonestar
“American Soldier” by Toby Keith
“American Saturday Night” by Brad Paisley.

Thanks for reading. I'll be back soon!
