Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! I feel like women are on top of their game right now in country music. If you like the Country Music 4 Ever Facebook page, you can hear new female artists every Wednesday. There are three female artists in particular that I really like right now, MaRynn Taylor, Emily Ann Roberts, and Lauren Watkins. All three of these ladies are very talented and have awesome songs.

I really like MaRynn’s song “Dads and Daughters.” This song talks about how strong the love between a dad and his daughter is. The chorus says, “Dads and daughters, they go together like boats and water. They’re meant for each other. Through wind and waves, they’ll sail away from the storm and make it to shore. There’s nothing stronger than the love between dads and daughters.”

I don’t know where to start with Emily. She is just a very talented artist. Her song “Whole Lotta Little” is one of my favorite songs right now. It’s one of those songs that doesn’t have a bad note, a bad line, or really anything bad about it. I love the fiddle in the song. It reminds me a lot of 90s country. It is a love song about not having a lot, but if money was love, they would be rich. Emily reminds me a lot of Miranda Lambert when she was first starting out.

Lauren has so many good songs as well. Today I will talk about “Stuck In My Ways.” This is a song about her being a true country girl, and she’s not going to change for anybody. I think she has a really great voice that I could definitely hear on the radio. She is very talented, just like MaRynn and Emily.

If you have time, you should look these three ladies up on any streaming platform. I guarantee you won’t regret it.
