Welcome back to Country Music 4 Ever! Blake Shelton just earned his thirty-first number one song with “Stay Country or Die Tryin'” It is crazy to think of any artist having that many successful hit songs because it's not every day somebody celebrates that many number ones. Blake is one of the few that has stood the test of time and is still going strong. Today, I want to take a look at Blake's career and see how he has left such an impact on the genre.

Blake released his debut single, “Austin” in 2001 and it went straight to number one, which was just the beginning of the amazing career he has had up to this point.

For a nine-year period, Blake had a string of 17 straight number ones. Beginning in 2009 with his Trace Adkins duet “Hillbilly Bone” all the way through 2016 with his hit “Came Here to Forget” Blake had one number one hit after another.

To give you a general idea of how huge Blake Shelton has become I thought I'd share how many number ones some of country's biggest stars have had. Toby Keith had 32 number ones. Alan Jackson has had 35 number ones. Merle Haggard had 38 number ones. And Ronnie Milsap has had 42 number ones. So, Blake is right there in the middle of some of country music's greatest stars and he's nowhere near the end of his successful run.

Thanks for reading. I'll be back soon!
